Memories

This piece a rendition of the Old Harbor Bridge in Corpus Christi, Texas. This piece was created for the TAMUCC President's Circle Student Art Exhibition. Since this is the largest pastel piece that I have created, it took about 3 months to fully recreate the image I used as reference. I used a combination of soft pastels and pastel pencils to achieve the desired level of detail and texture. The piece is meant to evoke a sense of nostalgia and reflection, capturing the beauty of the harbor while also conveying a sense of longing and memory.
